Photo album
Welcome to my new website. It launched in April 2026, and I am still fine-tuning and adding content to it.
The author, originally a civil engineer by profession, was born in 1956 in Bohumín, a city located at the confluence of the Odra and Olza rivers. He has been involved in amateur photography for 45 years. After experimenting with many different genres, he now focuses primarily on architectural photography, particularly architecture in all its forms. He is also frequently seen documenting various social events.
His photographs have been published several times in magazines such as Photo Life, Československá fotografie, and others, and have been exhibited at various group and solo exhibitions (e.g., the Nikon Calendar exhibition in Prague, Premiéra in Hradec Králové, the National Amateur Photography Competition and Exhibition in Svitavy, and many others).
In 2013, he founded the Fotoklub Bohumín association and was elected its chairman. He abandoned analog photography and the darkroom long ago; today he works exclusively in digital with Nikon equipment. He prefers a return to black-and-white photography.
In 2026, on the occasion of his 70th birthday, he published a monograph titled “Book of Photographs.”
In recent years, he has devoted himself intensively to documentary filmmaking. In addition to traditional family documentaries, he films reports from various art openings, balls, weddings, and interviews with interesting people. He works with a professional Panasonic camera and edits the footage in Vegas Pro.
He is a member of the Union of Czech Photographers and the Czech Federation of Photographic Art.
